I tried my denim jacket outfit with different shoes to see how they look.

This is my original outfit with my clark’s black heels. This looks more formal – maybe good for work.

With my gold ballet flats. Nice outfit for summer☀️(in England!)

Again ballet flats – leopard with a bit of red. I changed the belt to the red one to match the shoes. The deep red colour could be nice for autumn🍁

The last one with the white trainers. I love this one!! Perfect for spring🌸

It was very interesting taking photos like this. Shoes can change the image of the outfit completely!

Makes me want to go to a nice open cafe for coffee!

I love wearing my denim jacket in the spring!

I wanted to see if I can create different looks by just changing the skirt.

This was my original outfit.

Then I decided to change the skirt into my black pants. Very similar to the above, but little more sporty especially if I wear trainers (I think).

This one is a bit more fun. You can wear this for girls’ night out🍹 Seeing the photo, I think changing the camisole into black might be nice too.

All three outfits are fun in different ways. I’m always thinking of a way to enjoy fashion without owning too many clothes (shoes & bags also).

Pleated skirts are in fashion (midi to maxi length)!! Well, at least in Japan.

I really like them & I have two in my closet.

I thought about buying a lighter colour one for the spring🌸 so I went to try on a few.

They look so nice, especially how the skirt twirls around your legs. Makes you feel really feminine💕

But don’t you think they make your bum look big??? I always felt that although I like wearing them.

I see some fashion blogs talking about how these pleated skirts make you look slim etc. It is true, they make you look slim from the front, but the bum still looks big from behind💦 Nobody really talks about it though…

When something is in fashion, you want to wear it! But we need to be aware of its flaws too. We need to think about the outfit taking its flaws into account.

Or you can say ‘Who cares about my bum? I still like these skirts✨” & that is fine too. In many ways, when I wear my pleated skirts, I feel like that.

Still, they are very cute😉

Yesterday’s banana republic skirt….I wore it with more casual shoes to see how it looks.

The outfit is exactly the same as yesterday. I only changed the shoes 😉

Yesterday was with these black heels.

They look very different.

I think the trainers are better for walking around the town.

Also I love wearing white trainers in the spring time🌸 So this outfit is exactly what I want to wear now.

I tried the outfit with the gold ballet flats too.

This is cute too 😀

I try not to own too many clothes, so being able to change the outfit just with shoes like this make me very happy💕 I don’t want to own too many, but I don’t like to feel that I’m wearing the same thing all the time!

A black tight skirt can make your look like an office worker sometimes….. but I wanted to wear it casually this year with a pair of white trainers etc.　It is not easy to find one that can be worn casually though💦

Finally I found a perfect one. Why do I love this skirt so much 🥰

1. Depth of the side slit is perfect. Not too deep, but deep enough to give a sexy look. Also comfortable to walk.
2. Length of the skirt (just below knees). It goes well with heels, trainers, boots & flats (& flip flops in the summer)
3. Smooth feel of the fabric. Extremely comfortable to wear.
4. Shape of the waist to the hip. Perfect rounding shape.
5. Matching belt. It looks really cute, but you can also change it to a normal belt to give a shaper/more sophisticated look.
6. Except for a very very hot summer day (unusual in England), you can wear it all year around.
7. Washable!! Yes!!!

I wore it first with my pair of new Clark’s heels💕 I’ve got quite a few different outfit ideas with this skirt, so I’ll upload the photos a bit by bit.

BTW, has the sizing of Banana Republic gotten bigger? I’m sure the size I got this time is 1 to 2 sizes below what I normally get (& my shape hasn’t changed!!)

I guess going down a size is better than up😉

I bought a lovely pair of black heels from Clarks.

I love these heels because…

1. They are so comfortable
2. Heel height (5.5cm) is perfect. It is not too heigh to make it uncomfortable to walk, but still give a feminine look
3. Ankle strap gives sexy/feminine feel
4. Pointed toe shape is stylish, yet comfortable
5. They go well with skirt, jeans etc
6. A rubber sole gives a good grip
7. A sole has a soft cushion
8. Reasonable price (£45)

I already have some outfits in mind to wear with these heels😉

To be honest, I used to think that Clarks shoes were comfortable but not stylish….but they have some lovely lovely collection of shoes this season. I’m definitely going to check their shoes from now on!!

I found a pair of cute ballet flats also in Clarks which I’m debating whether to buy for the summer.

I bought a lovely set of underwear from the online shop Shein. It was a matching set and only about £8. They looked lovely and very reasonable – I had to try!!

But but but… I tore the knicker on the first day💦 How did I manage that???

When they arrived, they looked really nice. The colour was as it looked on their website & the fabric was so soft. I was pleased😀

However, when I tried to pull it down, tearing sound came & I realised that it was torn on the side. Actually not only one side but both sides‼️

I’m not sure how that happened. I didn’t pull it particularly hard or anything…

I was so shocked for few seconds… and bursted out laughing. I never tore an underwear like that before in my life (or any men in my life😉). Anyway, it went straight into a bin.

Shame… I really love Shein though. I think their clothes are great. Very reasonable & fashionable!!! But their underwear, I’m not sure. Maybe I was just unlucky.

£8 for my laughter. Not great, but not too bad either because it made me laugh a lot.

1. Thin and comfortable fabric

Skirt leggings are the answer for my exercise outfit as they look cute & cover the bum nicely as well 😀

I exercise twice a week. I swim once & do a ballet (barre) exercise once. This outfit is great for my ballet exercise.

I used to wear a regular sports leggings, but I felt like hiding my bum a bit, so I bought these online. They are Adidas tennis range.

Some skirt leggings are not suitable for ballet movements as they make the skirt too tight. This one is great. They don’t restrict any movement, but still cover what I want to cover😉

Tops are what I already had at home. Both from UNIQLO. The strong pink colour of the camisole bra top is a nice contrast with the black. My trainers happened to have a bit of this pink too, so they match nicely.

This is the only set of the gym clothes that I own. Since I only exercise twice a week, this is enough for me. My policy is not to buy things unnecessarily.

Exercise becomes more fun when you are wearing something you like!

I will not be able to wear it in few years time, so if I want to, I have to wear it now!!

So I tried.

I guess, I shouldn’t expose too much so tights & long boots are must.

Maybe OK… Better than I expected, I think.

But going up & down the stairs at the tube station, I might want to wear something on top, so I tried this.

This is actually pretty good. You can tell that it’s a mini skirt from the front, but the back is not too obvious

This long cardigan from Banana Republic is so useful. Makes me look taller, and I really love the lean effect that it can give. I I bought it either last year. or the year before.

Anyway, my friend gave me a nice compliment. It gave me a ✨ feeling.

Of course, I can’t wear it like how the model is wearing as it will not look right on me. But it doesn’t really matter. If you want to wear something, just wear it!! Just need to be a bit creative with it. So uplifting to wear something you like😀
